![]() ![]() if you like this kind of game, you will enjoy it and in its best moments it will be great, just sometimes expect some boring segments and a bad port. the game is just inconsistent in almost every aspect. ![]() it has a lot of problems, but sometimes i just couldnt stop playing because it was so amazing, but sometimes it was really boring and i didnt really want to play it. the aim redicle feels like a cheap port, and there are barely graphics options. the aim redicle is just bad, and its a shame they released it. your horse is also pretty useless as you barely use him. the open world is useless and doesnt make any real purpose. the game tries to make a cool universe but it fails. voiceacting is also for the most part bad. the running animation is pretty bad though. combat animation are good, though they can be better. finishers look great and opening doors is also pretty cool. because the enviroment looks good, it makes up for it a bit, but when theres a cutscene and you have close-ups on characters and objects, you see how bad textures and character models are.the animations are inconsistent. every boss fight feels unique, even though they dont really innovate. they are just thrilling and really fun to do. ![]() the best thing about the game is the boss fights. and combat system is overall great, but like the puzzles, it gets tedious near the end of the game. the music in the game is mostly good and pretty epic, though sometimes its a bit anoyying. sometimes they are good but some times theyre boring and not fun to do. ![]() some of the dungeons are also pretty atmosphereic and cool. some of the dungeons are also pretty darksiders 2 is overall a fun game, but it was pretty inconsistent. All I can say is give it a chance and if you can see past some occasional optimization problems than it's all peachy mu friends.Darksiders 2 is overall a fun game, but it was pretty inconsistent. I just literally got Darksiders 2 Deathinitive in the mail 2 hours ago and about to go in on this beautiful game. Maybe in the future but for now I was very pleased with this 1 playthrough apocolyptic run and it felt quite satisfying. Darksiders 3 was a very good 1st time playthrough for me but id be lying if I said I want to pkay through it again a 2nd time. Some levels could have used some more love but for the most part I loved it. I think the level designs and interconnectivity was fantastic. On a side note, I got a bad first impression from DKS3 as the initial zone felt uninspired but man I really loved this game and glad I stuck with it because it truly opens up quite a bit. It can be annoying but for me it was such a predictable and limited rime occurence that it did not hinder my experience in the slightest to be honest. But if you already defeated a boss that boss is gone along with some other once only spawn "special" enemies and/or mini bosses. Also if you die it will send you to the last Vulgrim you came in contact with (within 10 meters contact) and reset all enemies and breakables etc. If you jump on the spikes in the corner using flame hollow, you can stasis the drill and jump up to it by swapping to flame hollow. Vulgrims serve more as markers for fast travel. Idk if darksiders 3 is being ran by anyone yet, but while in the drilling annex vulgrim point i found a way to skip (havent tested the time save) from what i can tell quite a bit. So you could get halfway through a zone and kill all those enemies and destroyed half the breakables etc and as long as you go in menu and hit exit it will put you exactly where you left off next time you log in. Also the game actually is always saving whether you hit a vulgrim or not and it uses a similar save if not the exact same as Dark Souls. Also when backtracking it will do the same thing to reload zones. She’s agile and responsive when you tell her to dodge. Whenever entering a completely new zone usually it will drop some frames for a few seconds and occasionally will freeze with a loading icon for a couple seconds. When you fight small groups of demons as the nimble Fury (who's one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse), Darksiders 3 feels special. ![]()
